Hello, ladies and gents and others. I have finally crawled out of the horrible death-abyss of missing two days of my medication, and am among the living. And among the citizens of the USA, again, incidentally. Good to be home.

I just wanted to say: thank you SO MUCH to everyone who I stayed with and hung out with on my trip through the UK. I had a ridiculous amount of fun and am endlessly grateful for your hospitality. When I scrounge some money together I will try to send everyone thank-you presents. :)

So - flist! What's everyone been up to? Have I missed any good fic or fanart? I, for one, am enjoying a bottle of red wine, and working on IGC20, which is unrepentantly porny and mostly consists of Ianto being awesome. I'm looking forward to finishing it and finally posting. Love you all!

So I slept. Not a lot a lot, probably about six hours, but still. It was sleep and I don't randomly ache all over (okay, a little, but not so bad) and I can think mostly straight right now. I'll take it.

Of the important:

- ibarw. I do not think I will make a post, but I appreciate all the time and energy people put into what they write and I am reading extensively. IBARW has opened my eyes in a lot of ways and there are many many posts worth reading.

Of the good:

- I got The Cost of Honor which means I can finally start reading A Matter of Honor. Yayness.

- I watched Continuum a second time, and it held up much better this time. Once I set aside the things I knew were going to irk me, I was able to enjoy the character moments. And there were a lot of wonderful character moments. Plus, without giving too much away, there is so much fic potential in that movie, it's almost like a present from the PTB.

- There is going to be a Stargate con very close to me. Like, on-my-normal-route-to-work close. I have no idea if going will be an option for me, but it is still very cool to think about.

- Video of the Comic Con Stargate SG-1 panel is finally on-line.

Of the random:

- I am really sick of people using the phrase "politically incorrect" as a sort of wink-wink-nudge-nudge catch all excuse for being jerks.

- I should start watching Farscape again. I stopped watching after Self Inflicted Wounds because I remembered being bored by Different Destinations, but I should just muddle through that episode and get back to it.
